All these things is what you will find at the Epcot Flower and Garden festival in Orlando, FL. This yearly FlowerGarden-73springtime celebration done all throughout Epcot is a celebration of all the joys of spring and help us shake off the cold dreary months of winter (or at least the few weeks of winter we have here in Florida). It is a joyous, vibrant festival filled with flowers and plants of all sorts and with plenty of statues of our favorite Disney characters formed completely out of plants. It is incredible with what skill and whimsy all the gardens and statues are formed and created, it is true agricultural artistry. Of course let’s not also forget the food as always the park has excellent selections of food on a regular basis specifically in its world showcaseFlowerGarden-53. Here they have several countries in residency year round toasting to international delicacies. But during the flower and garden festival, they glorify the use of organic natural vegetables and spring time dishes, specific to those countries. You will even see special food stations dedicated to urban flower-garden-festival-2016-25organic farming surrounded by fresh veggies and herbs there and all around the park. You can even see specific habitat gardens set up everywhere like the Butterfly garden, the Bonsai Collection, and the Shakespeare garden, just to name a few. It really makes you feel like spring has sprung no matter where you are from in this wide world we all inhabit. They have plenty of things to do for all ages all the rides are opened as usual and they even special concerts and events during the festival called their “Garden Rocks series” So if you haven’t made it out to Epcot’s Flower and Garden festival, wake up from your winter hibernation and spring into action to Orlando you won’t regret it.
