For Christmas this year, I don’t want to ask for a hard to find toy or the even unlikelier world peace. My request is simple. Dignified. I’d like to ask to be in the presence of good friends, greasy food, and cheap and bountiful drinks. But I’d challenge you to make it even better; how about making it easy on the wallet, and something to look forward to during the brutally hot Tampa Bay days.
Deliver me Happy Hour.
Yes, my friends, happy hour is the best hour(s) of the day. Nearly every restaurant and bar has one, so your options are endless. From Tacos at Miguelitos, to wings at Hattricks, to the ridiculously cheap craft beers at Bar Louie, options + guaranteed good time = bliss.
Happy hour is best done with no agenda, or fear for where the night takes you. You have to give in, to accept that yes, you may get a bit of a mid-day buzz, but it will be the best kind because your work day obligations are over, and the night is still young.
So call your spouse, tell them that you’ll be home late tonight. You have some livin’ to do!
